#COP17<\/strong><\/a>: FINANCE DAY BEGINS<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 17th session of the Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD COP17) continues today with a programme focused on the High-Level Segment, financing, and investment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finance Day will focus on climate finance, green investment, development funds, and sustainable financing solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On the first day of COP17\u2019s second week, ministers and high-level representatives will discuss new financing mechanisms, greater private-sector participation, and opportunities to scale up investment needed to address land degradation and desertification and strengthen drought resilience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today\u2019s programme includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Presentations of investable projects aimed at restoring Mongolia\u2019s rangelands;<\/p>\n\n\n\n
